Twisted reality
A mysterious murmur

Vitriolic
Symbolic

Flames
Reminiscent of my bane
Ashes
The unceasing rain

Aimlessly eschew
Spiritual battles ensue

My thoughts
Spiraling out of control
The lake
Crumbling before me
The sun
Blotted by the brow
Now I take my final bow

In the abyss I have my soul to reminisice upon
A cold crevasse, the only thing to call on

A white plain
A black chain
A step in vain
The unceasing rain

The crack of dawn
A blazing pylon
A flaw in time
A divine mime

With leaden steps
I see the altar
I trudge forward
But then I falter

A ghastly figment
Reaches out to me
Dazed I stand
Pleading for mercy

Spirit, shattered
My soul, fractured

Cross over
Don't defy
